• Rice Powder. Kosher, cosmetic grade translucent appearance, has medium absorbency, leaves a matte finish with a super silky feel. This soothing, emollient type powder adds a protective layer over your skin. Because Rice powder is not made from a vegetable starch like cornstarch is, it has an indefinite shelf life.
• Titanium Dioxide. Helps makeup adhere to your skin, provides great coverage, sunscreen (SPF) and natural anti-inflammatory properties. It is very bright and is surpassed only by diamonds for its excellent refractive properties!
• Magnesium Stearate. A favorite ingredient for slip and high adhesion as well as great translucence. Provides a remarkable texture and overall consistency for LotusMinerals Mineral Makeup formulas.
• Sericite Mica. Created from purified and crushed mica minerals, our cosmetics formulator really loves this ingredient, not only for its wonderfully silky smooth feel and excellent shimmer properties, but also for it’s translucence and adhesion.
• Micas. Like Sericite, all Micas are created from purified and crushed mica minerals. Combined with Iron Oxides, Micas help create our beautiful foundation shades and vibrant colors. They also provide silky smooth texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
• Kaolin Clay. The purest clay of all, Kaolin has excellent absorbency, making it great for oily skin types. It has good coverage, translucent appearance and a creamy texture which compliments other LotusMinerals ingredients to help us formulate our premium blended Mineral cosmetic products.
• Zinc Oxide. Soothing to the skin, it also provides adhesion and coverage. Of course it is best known for it's unsurpassed broad-spectrum sun protection qualities. Zinc Oxide can also be an anti-irritant and potentially an antioxidant.
• Silica. Mineral found abundantly throughout nature, it is super oil absorbing, very translucent and has luxurious slip! Silica reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles due to it's superior light scattering properties.
• Pure Silk Powder – The silk powder in our mineral makeup products helps keep the pH of your skin in balance and has a gentle antibacterial quality. The luster of the extremely fine silk powder we use in LotusMinerals helps to diminish any lines, textures, or imperfections on your skin. The Amino acids found in silk are virtually the same building blocks of protein as in your skin, and are part of the natural hydration, or moisturizing process - silk is recognized as the closest thing to human skin.
• Iron Oxide & other Mineral Pigments – Red, Yellow & Black Iron Oxide pigments are beautiful naturally occurring minerals and Ultramarine Blue is the most complex of the mineral pigments, essentially a mineralized limestone containing a blue cubic mineral called lazurite. These are beautiful naturally occurring pigments, that when carefully blended, create the spectrum of color found in our formulas.

But perhaps it’s the ingredients that LotusMinerals does not have that set our products apart from others. LotusMinerals does not contain ingredients such as:

• Corn Starch, often times called "zea mays", has been reported to cause skin irritation. Unlike Lotus Minerals' ingredients, corn starch has an expiration date & is susceptible to bacterial growth.
• Bismuth Chloride, which many people have reportedly experienced allergic reactions to.
• Additionally, there is no alcohol, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, or other non-mineral ingredient. It's all Pure, All Natural, and all You!
